If you organise a sports team, a class or a shift rota, you already know the problem is not the fixture — it is finding out who is coming. Group chats bury the question under conversation, and the people least likely to reply are the ones you most need an answer from.
Post a single link that asks the one thing you need: can you make it. Everyone answers in a tap, from the chat they are already in, without downloading anything or making an account. Parents and casual members will not install an app to answer a question — that is the whole reason chasing fails.
Create the decision in QuickPoll with the dates or sessions as options. Share the link into WhatsApp, a team group, or wherever the squad already talks. Watch the responses arrive live, and see at a glance who has not answered yet.
For a weekly training slot or a rolling rota, reuse the same decision rather than rebuilding it each week, and keep the history so you can see who has been available over the season.
If you are asking something people might not answer truthfully in front of the group — availability for an unpopular fixture, say — turn on anonymous voting so the tally is real.
