D&D session scheduler
Tabletop groups usually die from scheduling, not from boring campaigns. A recurring slot poll turns the monthly "when can we play?" argument into a two-minute task.
A routine that keeps a campaign alive
- At the end of each session, post the next poll with three candidate nights over the next two weeks.
- Everyone ticks every night they can make. The night with the most ticks wins; if the DM or the whole party cannot do it, that slot is out.
- Close the poll within 24 hours and pin the result.
Handling the missing player
- Decide your rule up front: play with 4 of 5, or only when everyone can come. The poll shows exactly who can make each night, so the decision is obvious rather than awkward.
- If one player is repeatedly the blocker, ask them for their fixed unavailable days once rather than polling around them.
Other quick polls a table needs
- Which one-shot to run between arcs (ranked vote).
- Where to meet this month (quick poll).
- Who brings food (simple sign-up message in the chat).
